I can't agree with you about the Pikeville theater. Why the theaters aren't huge, they are nice, clean and not to mention, affordable (including the snacks).
just depends, there is never really a sell out around here unless it's harry potter or some big franchise film. However, the Halloween midnight show was a huge success the place was packed. I'll say, it'll probably be the same way for Saw IV

I agree with you about the Pikeville Theatres. If the ones in Norton are as nice we will be very lucky!!! All my experiences there have been nothing but good.
Just from looking at the plans, 4 theaters look to be 'fair' sized, the other 3 smaller. If you have a big movie, you show it in 2 theaters, but you have the smaller ones for kids movies, etc.
A place doesn't have to be huge to be a good theater, they just need to keep it up, take pride in it and not let people destroy it.

correct. just because each theatre wont seat 300 people doesn't mean it will be sub-par.
